Lead Trainer
Allison Voehringer
Allison has always had an innate connection with dogs, honing her skills through every avenue available.
Her training journey began in 2013 when she joined classes at an obedience club, where she and her Siberian Husky placed top of the class in obedience before going on to earn Rally and Canine Good Citizen titles together.
Allison continued training and mentoring under skilled trainers with a vast spectrum of training ideologies, learning something from every interaction before branching out and independently taking on clients.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading research articles and books on training and behavior; taking classes on animal behavior; and attending seminars on aggression, obedience, nosework, and more to continue learning!
Allison has worked professionally as an Explosives Detection K9 handler, holding a TSA 3PK9 Certification, receiving extensive training on a variety of aspects of detection, and working a variety of venues in real-world searches.
She has also been an active volunteer in a number of helper positions for different AKC dog sports, and competed with her dogs in obedience, rally, conformation, nosework, and fastCATs.
Allison shares a household with a Siberian Husky, two Belgian Malinois, and Border Collie.
